Every year there comes a point when life starts to feel denser.

The calendar gets fuller, the days get shorter, and even simple responsibilities begin to carry more weight than they should.

That's when I do a fall reset.

What the Reset Includes

It usually has five parts:

  • clearing physical clutter
  • simplifying my schedule
  • tightening spending
  • revisiting health basics
  • choosing one priority for the season

The goal isn't to become a new person. It's to reduce unnecessary drag.

Why Seasonal Resets Work

I think people underestimate how much seasons affect mood, energy, and routines.

What worked in summer often doesn't work the same way in fall.

Schedules change. Light changes. Motivation changes.

A reset helps your habits adapt instead of quietly breaking.
